What People Say

Most Liked

Customers consistently praise the friendly and attentive service, which makes every dining experience enjoyable. Many highlight their standout dishes, such as the crispy and flavorful wood-fired pizzas, and the generous portions of pasta, particularly the chicken parmesan and the Cajun tortellini. The carefully curated wine list offers selections catering to every palate, and the desserts, especially the rich tiramisu, leave a lasting impression. The homey, inviting atmosphere makes it a go-to spot for both solo diners and larger gatherings, often returning to enjoy not just the food, but the vibrant community feel.

Most Disliked

While The Brick Oven excels in many areas, some visitors note that parking can be a challenge during peak hours, particularly on Fridays and weekends when the restaurant fills to capacity. Additionally, a few diners have mentioned wait times can increase during busy hours, particularly for dinner, as the restaurant focuses on delivering freshly prepared meals. Some patrons also feel that the prices, while reasonable for the quality, might be a little steep for quick lunches. Nonetheless, these minor drawbacks often don’t overshadow the overall positive dining experience.

Lovely little restaurant hidden on a side street in Hannibal. Its a very charming and romantic building with 2 rooms for dining. From our table you can see into the kitchen and watch the chef making and cooking the pizzas! Everything we ordered was excellent and large quantities! We all had some leftovers to take home! I would definitely recommend and we will definitely return again! Oh, and our waitress was wonderful too! Thank you!

This is a fancy Italian with lots of wine and food to choose from and also a place that you can walk in and order a brick oven cooked pizza. Here are some pictures of the pizza, salad and garlic bread. You can even see them cook your pizza if you sit on that side of the dining area. Don't Be Scared to go there! 😁

Thank you for providing wonderful service as we came in 20 mins before closing from the road. Our waitress was lovely. The food and atmosphere were awesome. We all had pasta: chicken parm, spaghetti and meatballs, chicken fettuccine alfredo, and Cajun Tortellini with shrimp. They were all delicious and large portions. We really enjoyed the house dressing on their salad. Thank you!

The pizza was outstanding! We ordered The Brick and added mushrooms. The pizza was flavorful, especially the mushrooms. The crust was light and crispy. The amount of meat was generous. This was one of the best pizzas I have ever had! The wine selection offered something for everyone. The servers were very friendly. The Tiramisu was fantastic. It was rich and creamy with a subtle coffee flavor. Yum! If we lived in the area we would revisit often. We are glad we found this place!

The Brick Oven Easy to find. Parking could be touchy when tourists arrive. Great old world Italian feel. Made us feel like family. Beautiful helpful Waitress, Tori. Great prices. I had Manicotti and hubby had Grandpa Karl's Spaghetti with extra meatballs. The meatballs are a good size. So just get 2 unless you are very hungry. Both meals were exceptional! We split a tiramisu. Please try them all out.

Man, the pizza is without a doubt is some of the best I’ve ever had. Crispy, a hint of garlic, a very well balanced sauce, amazing pepperoni and a VERY good cheese! You guys killed it, and the servers and cooks definitely need a handshake and pat on the back. And btw, grandpa carls spaghetti should be considered a saint among foods! The meatballs are literally the size of my fist!!!

Party of 4 and we all enjoyed our meals! Food is freshly made, staff is friendly. Found my new favorite place to eat in Hannibal! I thought the prices were great especially considering the amount of food we each got. I'll definitely be recommending this to any regulars that come to my work and ask about great food places. Parking isn't that great ONLY because its down town and parking is hard to find any where around there so its not their fault.
